Bradley S. Galer, MD, Founder, CEO Topiceutical, former CMO and Group Vice President Endo Pharmaceuticals Dr Galer has been an internationally recognized leader in pain and headache management for over 15 years. Following a successful academic career, he joined Endo Pharmaceuticals as Vice President of Scientific Affairs and Senior Medical Officer in 2000 and rapidly promoted to Group Vice President. While at Endo, he supervised the Clinical R & D Departments, including Clinical Research, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Global Safety and Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Development & Education. He has assisted in the clinical development of multiple analgesic and headache products, as well as writing several NDAs, including DepoDur® and Opana® (oxymorphone ER and IR). He also was the prime medical/clinical leader in corporate development and licensing activities for Endo. Prior to joining Endo, Dr Galer was an internationally recognized academic leader in pain medicine, as well as headache, and a consultant to companies developing analgesic compounds, such as Parke-Davis’ (Pfizer) Neurontin® and Lyrica® programs. He has authored over 200 publications in the field of pain medicine and headache. He has 2 published patents and is co-inventor on 6 additional patent applications; while at Endo he submitted more than a dozen inventions. He is known internationally for his foresight and vision of the eventual growth of the US topical analgesic market and has been asked to author multiple reviews on topical analgesics.
