Aaron Davidson, Managing Director, H.I.G. Ventures Aaron joined H.I.G. Ventures as a Managing Director in January 2004 and focuses on investment opportunities in the life sciences sector. Prior to joining H.I.G., Aaron was a Vice President with Ventures West with a focus on venture investing in life sciences companies. He began his career with Eli Lilly Company, one of the largest global pharmaceutical companies. Aaron spent a decade with Lilly in various management roles in the U.S. and Canada including business development, strategic planning, market research, and financial planning. After Lilly he spent a year as the Vice-President of Corporate Business Development at SYN-X Pharma. He currently serves on the boards of Gemin X Biotechnologies Inc, Oncogenex Technologies Inc, Salmedix Inc. Aaron has earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.
