Daniel J. O'Connell, Managing Partner, NeuroVentures Dan’s experience with neuro-related technology companies includes co-founding MedSpecialists, Inc., a venture-backed clinical applications provider acquired by ProVation Medical Inc., and Surgical Solutions, LLC, a company which developed and marketed neurosurgical products licensed from leading research institutions. Dan is a member of the Business Advisory Boards of the Epilepsy Therapy Development Project and the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation. He serves on the Board of the Neurotechnology Industry Organization. Previously Dan worked in investment banking at Advest, Inc. He holds a B.A. from Brown University and M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.
