Andrew Sandham (Chairman) Neoven Consultants Ltd. Mr Sandham has 28 years of experience in the healthcare sector, during which he has performed a broad spectrum of roles covering corporate strategy, operational management, business development and marketing. He has contributed significantly to the establishment of successful drug discovery and development companies both in Europe and the US. He was Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Ionix Pharmaceuticals, which was divested to Vernalis plc in 2005. Prior to this he served as Chief Operating Officer of Signature BioScience, Hexagen and Cantab Pharmaceuticals. Mr Sandham has also held business development and marketing positions at Amersham, Celltech and Roche. In addition to his role with NeurAxon, he is currently non-executive chairman of UK biotech companies Novacta Biosystems and Syntaxin and is a Venture Partner with the venture capital firm Abingworth Management. He has a BSc in Chemistry from University of East Anglia and a Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing.
